separateDominionPXUnitsintoasingle,logicalgroup,allowingcontrol
fromasingleDominionPX.Outletsthataregroupedtogetherpoweron
(andpoweroff)togetherinunison,makingoutletgroupingidealfor
serverswithpowersuppliespluggedintomultipleDo
minionPXunits.
Users,orthegrouptheybelongtomusthavetheOutletGroup
ConfigurationpermissionunderUser/GroupSystemPermissionsin
ordertomanageoraccessanOutletGroup.
Note:OutletGroupingsupportsaddingoutletsfromuptofourother
DominionPXunits.AllunitsmustbeaccessibleoverIPandmustbe
runningfirmwareversion1.1orhigher.
Identifying Other Dominion PX Units
ToaddoutletsfromotherDominionPXunits,youmustfirstidentify
whichDominionPXunitswillbesharingtheiroutlets.Todothis:
1. SelectOutletGroups,andthenselectOutletGroupDevices.The
OutletGroupDeviceswindowappears.
2. TypeanametoidentifytheDominionPXunityouwanttoaddin
theNamefield.
3. TypetheIPAddressoftheDominionPXunityouwanttoaddinthe
IPAddressfield.
4. Optionally,typeaUsernameandPasswordusedtoauthenticateon
theDominionPXun
itbeingadded.Youcanleavethesefieldsblank
tousethesameusernameandpasswordastheDominionPX
currentlybeingaccessed.
