Before You Begin
Beforebeginningtheinstallation,performtheactivitieslistedbelow:
Unpack the Dominion PX and Components
1. RemovetheDominionPXunitandotherequipmentfromtheboxin
whichtheywereshipped.Referto“PackageContents”sectionfora
completelistofthecontentsofthebox.
2. Comparetheunitandserialnumberoftheequipmentwiththe
numberonthepackingsliplocatedontheoutsideofth
eboxand
makesuretheymatch.
3. Inspecttheequipmentcarefully.Ifanyoftheequipmentisdamaged
ormissing,contactRaritanʹsTechnicalSupportDepartmentfor
assistance.
Prepare the Installation Site
1. Makesuretheinstallationareaiscleanandfreeofextreme
temperaturesandhumidity.
2. AllowsufficientspacearoundtheDominionPXforcablingand
outletconnections.
3. ReviewtheSafetyInstructionslistedinthebeginningofthisuser
guide.
